今日、帯広へ出張でした。思ったよりも雪がたくさん積もっていました。
Today I had a trip to Obihiro. There was more snow on the ground than I had expected.
折角なので、仕事が終わってから帯広の有名人KAZUYAさんと食事をし、先日彼が産経新聞に載せた私たちの沖縄に関する本のすばらしい書評について感謝を述べることができました。
It was a great chance to have dinner with the famous Obihiro resident KAZUYA after I finished my work, and to thank him for the great review he wrote for our book about Okinawa in the Sankei Newspaper the other day.

食べたのは帯広名物の豚丼です。肉はとても柔らかくて、味付けも良かったですよ!
We had pork bowl, which is a specialty of Obihiro. The pork was very tender and it tasted great!
