I don’t believe everything the Huffington Post publishes, and there are some parts of the article which I think are incorrect, but I have confirmed that the core of the article is correct. Check the foreign agent registration form contained in the URL listed on the sixth line of the article cited above.

しかし、このロビー会社は２０１３年にトヨタ自動車とも契約しています。
However, this same firm signed an agreement in 2013 to represent Toyota Motors.
何だか、きな臭い話ですね。利益相反だと思います。
This smells fishy to me. I think this is a conflict of interest.
倫理規定第IV条4.2及び4.3項に反するように見えるのです。
This seems to be contrary to the provisions in the Code of Ethics, Article IV, paragraphs 4.2 and 4.3.
