So I was making coffee today.
Some people are able to differentiate the tastes of coffee.
I envy those, and want to be able to do it myself too.
There is an interesting community of people discussing about coffee here.

and one of them was saying "your sense of taste represents your personality".
Yeah, I totally agree with that person.
To be able to know your sense of taste is like knowing yourself better, and at the same time knowing the relationship between you and the world better.
And of course if you can explain to people how this coffee is more tasty than that one, you're kinda cool, don't you agree? haha
Anyways, so distinguishing what's your favorite taste and what's not is one way to reinforce your identity.
Today, I made coffee in 2 different ways.
Coffee[1]
I ground the beans really well until it was powdery. Then I made coffee(both coffee were made paper-drip filtered), but the beans didn't bloom at all.
The taste was rather strong, but in a bitter way. There was a nagging texture to it. Not quite good.
Coffee [2]
The beans were grounded well but not powder-ish, more coarsely than coffee[1]. The coffee made was thinner than the last one, both in taste and texture. I rather liked it! By the way the beans bloomed a little.
I guess the beans were getting old and starting to oxidize. I must get a new one. I also have to find a way to keep them fresh for a long time.
Basically, coffee tastes better when the beans bloom well, when poured with hot water. Its a sign that the beans are fresh. When the beans bloom, water gets captured in the foam and there will be no leakage, making all water into coffee (what?). That's how people explain, so I'll just stick with it.
So that's my experience for today, I'll try out more combination soon.

勉強して覚えようとする言語って、どうも数学的要素が強いと思います。
全単語を日本語に置き換えて理解しないと納得行かないでしょ？
左脳英語って感じ。
(もはや左脳が論理、右脳が感性っていう話は古いらしいけどね。)
ストラクチャー(構成)に忠実に従うことが最重要視されるかわりに、応用範囲が広い。もはや公式化されているからね。
なんとも数学的である。
逆に、実際のコミュニケーションとかから拾って行く英語っていうのは、感性の英語だね。
右脳英語ってやーつ。
応用範囲は狭いけど、言霊(※前日の投稿を参照)が確かに宿った発言ができる。相手と表面上の意味の合致以上に、なにかコミュニケーションが取れているというフィーリングを得られたり、「お前本当に日本人!?」っていう風に思われるかもね。
ちなみに俺にはインドネシア人のコアラっていう知り合いがいるけど、彼はたまに感性の日本語を要素を使ってきます。お前ふざけんなよ！とか、ちょっとおかしくない？とか、会話が流れる様にできる。わざわざ型にはめてこない。
右脳日本語だなあと思いました。
俺もこれからは右脳英語を磨いて行きたいです。
としたらやっぱり本。それとYouTubeでレターマンショーとか見て、会話や文から、なにか訴えるものがあるフレーズや応対を見つけ、憶える、って感じですね。
がんばります。目指すコアラ！
