ものすごく天気が良かったので札幌JRタワーに登ってみた。

The weather was so clear that it motivated me to take a lift to the top of Sapporo JR Tower.

Could see the Sea of Japan beyond the Hokkaido University campus.

Mountains in the East.

Coffee on the top, 400 yen. The elevator was 640 yen with JR-card discount.

On the next day early in the morning, looked up the JR Tower.

Lovely breakfast in the station concourse.

Train to the airport.

Got into the JAL flight, op by B737-800.

Departed Hokkaido back to Tokyo.

Saw clearly the LNG power plant and the steel mill facing Tokyo Bay.

Enjoyed walking some places around Sendai besides attending a relative's wedding.

Started walking from Omoshiroyama station(面白山). Nobody else was found through the mountain road there.

Some parts of the route were covered with snow.

Meltwater flow.

This point was almost closed by fallen trees. Minimum path was cut for walkers.

Cute attractions aside the road.

Not sure these fields are still utilized for farming.

Like to see such outdated sign boards like this.

Color of water near the Yamadera(山寺) temple.

Took a train back to Sendai.

Russell car for the rail maintenance during winter.

On the day-2, visited Sendai Nishi(West) park for walking.

Aoba-yama park(青葉山公園).

Got closer down to Hirosegawa(広瀬川) river to see its color of water.

Sendai subway trains cross over the river.

Double decker bridge across Hirose river.

Visited Sendai Mediatheque. Famous architecture.

Took the subway to the Underground Forest Museum.

A real Paleolithic forest has been unearthed.

Deer droppings of 20 thousand years ago.

Display of stuffed deer. Cute.

神明下橋の定点観測

Regular observations of Shibakawa river on Shimmei-shita-bashi bridge.

Found Magnolia in full bloom.

Introduced the earthenware my wife made to our goldfish.

Went out for fishing at a regular point on Arakawa river.

There was no catch but had a comfortable time of spring.
