Took a local train at Senboku-cho station to Morioka where we transferred to the Shinkansen to return home.
Visited Yonezawa(米沢) by JR milage.
Took the Series E8 in the morning.
Weather was fair.
Had snow accumulation but roads were well maintained.
Very good dish at Otowa dining only for 800 yen.
Enjoyed walking the city connecting historical spots.
Uesugi shrine(上杉神社) was splendid.
Tourist information room near the shrine was a warm shelter for me.

Took a train from Nishi-Yonezawa back to Yonezawa.
Bought two boxes of beef bento at Yonezawa station.
The train back was operated by Series E3.
