EH500の1号機は時々見かけるが、翌日に2号機にも遭遇したので記念に投稿。

Encountered EH500 locomotive "Kintaro" serial #1 and #2 in sequential two days.

 

 

Seeing off the "Saphir" train to Izu destination.

 

A wetland appeared in the riverbed of Shibakawa(芝川).

 

 

 

 

Saw a breeding march of carps at Sin-mei-shita bashi(神明下橋) Bridge.

有休をとって東京散歩に出かけた。

Took a day off and enjoyed strolling in Tokyo area.

 

First, visited Tsurumi line(鶴見線) railway in Keihin industrial area. Bentenbashi station(弁天橋駅).

 

Train comes frequently.

 

Dropped by at Anzen station(安善駅).

 

Okawa station(大川駅) is on a very minor branch so if missed this train the next comes 8.5 h later.

 

 

 

This station is Asano(浅野駅), another split to Umishibaura(海芝浦) branch.

 

 

 

Umishibaura station(海芝浦駅) is on a seafront of Tokyo Bay.

 

The exit of the station connects directly to the entrance to Toshiba Company, with a gate exclusive for Toshiba personnel only. Unique atmosphere of industria.

 

 

A park in the station area. Allowed to do fishing?

 

Got in the train back to Asano.

 

 

 

The second destination was Itabashi Tropical Botanic Garden(板橋区立熱帯環境植物館).

 

Got off at Takashimadaira(高島平駅) station via Sugamo.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Got back to the station. Found Takashimadaira was a big station.

 

Moved to Tetsugakudo(哲学堂) as the third spot of today. Araiyakushi-mae station(新井薬師前駅) .

 

Myoshojigawa(妙正寺川) river. Felt odor problem although the water seemed clear.

The final spot was Kameari(亀有駅) for a coffee. Then got home after buying some souvenirs at Ueno station(上野駅). Comfortable fatigue.

 

 

会社を少し早く出て武蔵野を散歩した。

Finished work early at office and went out for walking.

Took a train and got off at Kodaira station(小平駅).

いい天気の中、自転車で見沼田んぼに出かけた。

It was fine and went cycling around the Minuma Paddy Fields (Minuma Tambo) in Saitama City.

 

Started from Omiya Park, which is geographically connected to the wetlands of the Minuma rice paddies.

Saw cherry blossoms begin to come out.

 

大宮南部浄化センターの対岸あたりで鳥を見ながら休憩。

Had a rest and saw birds on the left bank, facing Nambu Sludge Recycle Center.

 

Yellow rape flowers reflected on the water surface of Minuma Daiyosui Nishiberi Channel(見沼代用水西縁).

武蔵野線から見沼田んぼの東側を反時計回りに北上する。

Reached the crossing point with Musashino line railway and turned anti-clockwise to the east side of Minuma Tambo.

 

The primary buffer pond of Shibakawa river near Musashino line. Seemed like a good weltand for wildlife.
