いい天気の中、自転車で見沼田んぼに出かけた。

It was fine and went cycling around the Minuma Paddy Fields (Minuma Tambo) in Saitama City.

 

Started from Omiya Park, which is geographically connected to the wetlands of the Minuma rice paddies.

 

Buffer pond on the right bank of Shibakawa river.

 

Saw cherry blossoms begin to come out.

 

大宮南部浄化センターの対岸あたりで鳥を見ながら休憩。

Had a rest and saw birds on the left bank, facing Nambu Sludge Recycle Center.

 

Yellow rape flowers reflected on the water surface of Minuma Daiyosui Nishiberi Channel(見沼代用水西縁).

 

Farming field in spring sunlight, laid between Diyosui irrigation channel and Shibakawa river.

 

Grass and spring park connected to Hikawa-Nyotai Jinja shrine(氷川女體神社).

 

Sacred and refreshing scenery of the shrine garden. Liked this shrine for its calm atmosphere.

武蔵野線から見沼田んぼの東側を反時計回りに北上する。

Reached the crossing point with Musashino line railway and turned anti-clockwise to the east side of Minuma Tambo.

 

The primary buffer pond of Shibakawa river near Musashino line. Seemed like a good weltand for wildlife.

The Omiya Plateau on the opposite bank was seen beyond the flat farming fields.

Today's reach point, Funa-Hashi Bridge(船橋) on Shibakawa River.

前回は沼津から東田子の浦の立圓時まで自転車。少し雲が多かった。

Last time by bicycle from Numazu to Higashi-Tagonoura, Mt. Fuji was partly hidden under clouds.

 

This time, this clearness! My walking resumed from this point. Ryuenji(立圓寺) temple.

 

Kawai bashi(河合橋) over Numakawa(沼川) river. Yoshiwara(吉原) area used to be busy at paper industry.

 

Hidarifuji(左富士) section of the route looks Mt. Fuji on the left.

 

Clear water sourced from the ground water from a volcano layer.

 

Took a Soba lunch at Taiya(鯛屋) restaurant in Yoshiwara post town.

This spot is famous among train photographers.

 

Purchased some oranges cheap at an honesty vender. Outgrade appearance but tasted sweet.

 

Descending down to Okitsu(興津) post town.

 

Reached Okitsu station before sunset and got back home. Nine(9) hour of joyful walking.
