久しぶりに不良サラリーマンごっこだ。

Rode over the routine commuter train to Odawara wearing business bag and clothing.

 

Took Daiyuzan train(大雄山線) seemed interesting when arrived at Odawara.

 

Got off the train at Fujifilm-mae station.

 

Lovely train cars for rail maintenance.

 

 

Took a bus to Jizodo(地蔵堂) terminal expecting a panorama of Mt. Fuji.

 

Found very few bus service for seeing Mt. Fuji from the pass top.

 

Decided to take the same bus back to the train station.

 

Daiyuzan trains at Daiyuzan station.


Dropped by Kamonomiya(鴨宮) station for a lunch.

Next, dropped by Oiso(大磯) station.

 

 

 

Search for Tsurumi line timetable found too few trains for returning home before sunset. Visited Yokosuka line as an alternate.

Enjoyed one hour walking around Yokosuka area. Lovely stream of the valley.

Took a train at Zushi back home. Beautiful holiday.

天気が良いので上毛電鉄の太田食堂に行ってきた。

Found a popular restaurant on Jomo line in Gunma.

Took the Tobu "Revaty" express to Ota.

 

Comfort accommodation.

Exchanged with an old type express train.

 

Changed to a local train at Ohta to Akagi.

 

From Tobu to Jomo line at Akagi.

 

Encountered the Jomo Aquarium Train. Amazing.

 

 

Dropped by Zen station(膳駅) where a popular restaurant on the Google Map located.

 

 

After a good Katsudon lunch, moved to Maebashi.

 

A fifteen minute walk from Maebashi-Chuo station of Jomo line to the JR Maebashi station.

Took the express train back home, for an afternoon jogging.

紅葉を見に養老渓谷まで行ってきた。

Visited Yoro Keikoku valley for seeing autumn leaves.

 

Took reserved seats for the open-air "Torokko" train.

 

 

Retro and local atmosphere.

 

Amazing experience although the weather was not fine.

 

Got back to Goi station after we enjoyed Ashiyu foot bath at Yoro Keikoku station.

 

Found an old type of train cars at Okayama station in the evening on a business trip.

 

Early in the next morning, set out for riding the train.

 

吉備線の総社行き

Here comes, composed of four cars of Kiha 40 and 47, bound for Soja via Kibi line.

 

Passengers were few.

 

 

By about 40 minute ride, arrived at Soja. Still in dark.

Walked to see the morning scenery at the bridge over Takahashi river(高梁川). Cloudy but fairly bright.

 

 

 

There seemed a bird sanctuary in the river bank.

 

Stone statues aside the road back to the station.

 

At Soja station, saw the sleeper express Sunrise Izumo passing. Missed to capture.

 

Got back to Okayama via Hakubi line for breakfast and joined the business.

 

伯備線倉敷駅のEF64

Also saw a JNR type locomotive EF64 at Kurashiki station in the afternoon. Nice to have had a trip seeing living railway heritage.
