This is what's called, Mega Solar. so what is different

between the day solar power in the house. Well, it'a pretty

much the same exept one thing. -- scale. This place is huge.

Just take a look. This is 1.5 square kilometers of solar panels

It's the biggest solar facility in Japan, so far.

Here's on the edge of Kagoshima Bay. There're 300,000

solar panels here. Enough electricity is generated the power for

25,000 houses.

This place is run by just 6 people. Most what they do

is weeding. This could and perhaps should be energy for the

future. So why these're been built eveerywhere around the world.

Well it has some real problems, They don't like dur,t perticularly

it doesn't like weather like today , rain. This place today is probably

generating just 15 maybe 20 percent of it full capacity.

The most of all obviously it dosen't work when the sun goes down.

So the issue is how to togather the electricity to generate during

the day and store it. so can be used them during the night.

That technology is now just dosen't exist

Whoever ivent it is going to change the world and at the same time

become very very rich.
