Todd Haupt, who lost his home in Missouri. He said
he had not updated his voter registration information
when he moved to St. Charles, Mo. "Is that required?"
he said "I had no idea."
Todd Hauptさんはミズリー州の家を失い、モンタナ州の
St.Charlesに引越してきた時に、選挙手続き情報を得る
ための新規の手続きをしていない。
それが必要かどうか解らない、と言っている。
More than a million people have lost their homes
through foreclosre in the last two years, and many
of them are still registered to vote at the address
of the home they lost. Now election officials and
voting rights groups are struggling to prevent
thousands of them from losing their vote when
they go to the polls in November.
100万人以上の人々が過去２年間で帳簿上で除外されたため、
家を失った。 多くの人は失った元の家の住所で選挙権が登録
されている。 １１月の選挙に向け、現在選挙事務職員と
選挙権グループの人達が苦労して沢山の人達が選挙権を
