A man has stabbed at least 10 passengers on a Tokyo commuter train just 8km (5 miles) from the Olympic Stadium.

防犯カメラの映像などから容疑者は乗客に切りつけたあと料理用の油を車内にまいて火を付けようとしたことが分かっており、捜査関係者によると「自分の不幸は周りのせいだと考えるようになり幸せそうな人を見ると殺したかった」などと供述しているということです。

It is known from security camera footage that the suspect tried to set the train on fire by spreading cooking oil on the train after cutting the passengers. According to investigators, he stated that he had come to believe that his unhappiness was the fault of those around him and wanted to kill them when he saw them happy.

JＲ九州（JR Kyushu）は、2022年秋、西南日本での開業を予定する西九州新幹線の車両デザインの詳細を公表しました。

WHO事務局長は、「ニコチンは中毒性が強い。電子ニコチン送達システム（ENDS: electronic nicotine delivery systems）は有害であり、規制を強化するべきだ」と述べました。メーカーは多数の魅力的なフレーバーと安心感を与えるフレーズで、若者を主要なターゲットにしています。現在、1万6000種類のフレーバーがあるそうです。

The WHO Director-General said "Nicotine is highly addictive. Electronic nicotine delivery systems (ENDS) are harmful and should be better regulated." Manufacturers are targeting young people as a key audience with a large number of attractive flavours and reassuring phrases. There are currently 16,000 different flavours.
