Goodbye senpai

One of my senpai is getting transferred to the headquarters in Japan two weeks later.

My team had a steamboat buffet at Chinatown to fate her well. 

I will miss her, even though I haven't had much chance to talk to her.

After that I was supposed to go for a supper with the Brotherhood, but I forgot about it and went to Nex TKA.

Jiawei told us about how Korean girls all have large breasts and the same face. Either that or they have large breasts and are ugly. 

Kevin told us about his life in UK. It seems like he's gunning for a banker job. He also got back with his tinder girlfriend and stayed loyal to her even though a girl over there wanted to have sex with him. Good man. Don't cheat on your partner.

He even tried weed. Really exciting life over there.

Marcus lost his motivation for studying. He got a lot of money for free from a scholarship. Proud of him.

Always interesting to hear about other people's life. We all came from the same secondary school but are all walking very different paths now. I shouldn't get too comfortable with where I am now. Listening to people might inspire me.

Natsumatsuri

Facebook reminded me of the natsumatsuri from 2 years ago.

She was beautiful that day. She was so beautiful that entire summer.

And she came for me. I will never forget how happy I felt when she told me that. The happiest moment of my life has already happened at that time. It's strange to think that for the next 50 years or so I will never be able to feel that happy again.

Dragon Quest XI

I completed this masterpiece on Saturday.

Nier Automata, Horizon Zero Dawn, Ys VIII, and this are the best games of the year so far.

There's still Danganronpa v3 and Sen no kiseki III to come before the year ends.

Meanwhile I have completed plenty of other games such as The Wolf Among Us, The Walking Dead S1-3, The Witcher 3 GOTY edition, Blue reflection, Dragon Quest Builders, Zero Escape trilogy.

I didn't complete Kingdom Hearts 2.8 HD Final Chapter Prologue, Nioh, Uncharted Remastered, The Last of Us, Infamous : Second Sons, Until Dawn, Gravity Rush 2.

I watched Little Nightmare, Inside, Beyond : two souls, Heavy rain, Indigo Prophecy.

Animenz with Alvin

I went for a piano recital with my colleague and friend Alvin.

Animenz is a famous pianist who plays anime songs using classical methods. He was born in China and moved to Germany. Amazingly, he's only 26 years old.

It was a wonderful two hours piano recital to only cost $34. I don't think I have ever had a better deal before.

After the recital, I went to Swee Lee to look at keyboards and piano. Alvin learnt piano since he was 5 years old, so he knew all about it. He recommended me a keyboard that costs $1300. I believe I will be getting that. I'm still not too old to pick up piano! I have to figure out how to make space for it though.

We had dinner at Coco ichiban curry, because it's my favourite curry of all time. We talked about music, which is our common interest. We also talked about work, and other stuff.

So glad that I have a colleague I'm close with to talk about the things I like. It's a blessing, and I appreciate it.

I recently found out that Alvin is actually close friends with Yude. Both of them are from NUS and loves Japan, so that's their link. What a small small world Singapore is.

Mobilisation

I got mobilised today... I found out about it right after waking up.

Totally ruined my day... 

Could they have possibly picked a worse day in the entire month? I guess they could have picked last weekend when I was playing dragon quest xi.

I'm on a long, long travel to Tuas Naval Base now, and I can't even watch anime because the connection is bad on a train. Sigh.
