I believe some of the cards I designed are already released in the Chinese version of my game. ニコニコ

Game developers must love their games, that's the unspoken rule. If the makers don't love their games, how can they expect players to love their games?

That was my greatest problem. Compared to everyone else in the team, I don't love my game enough. Loving the game IS part of the job. It's the one time in life that you have to force love to happen.

But truth is, I really do like the game. The characters are so cute, and designing them is so much fun. I just can't get into the game because of the gameplay.

I have been listening to the sales report closely lately. The game hasn't been performing well in China and Taiwan. There's a real danger of the Chinese versions of the game shutting down.

I will be sad if that happens. I want Chinese and Taiwanese folks out there to look at the characters designed by me too.

I will pay more attention to the game. Don't wanna lose out to any of my team members. I also want to try to get the characters designed by myself!

Soon the Chinese homepage will have my characters. I can't wait for it. チュー
Is it abnormal that I'm still thinking about her every day?

Not a single day has gone by without me thinking about her since 26 October 2016.

Every time I'm not occupied with something, my mind will stray towards memories of her. Such as when travelling to work every morning. Or before sleeping. Or watching shows.

Will I ever find a cure for it, I wonder. Can people ever stop missing someone who was so important to them?
There's a lot of racism and violence in USA.

Please stay safe.

I had dinner at the new ramen champion with Edmund and Leo. I had some super spicy ramen and my stomach is suffering right now.

I found out that two of the guys back from middle school are on very bad terms now. One of them used to be my best friend. Apparently this guy was too nice to my ex-best friend's ex-girlfriend and they had a big quarrel and never talked to each other again.

Girls complicate men's friendship. Nothing new. It's not really any of my business, but those two have known each other for ages. Pity that this had to happen. The most silly part is that both of them probably aren't even in touch with that girl anymore.

It was good to see Edmund again. He's crazy about mobile games now. Amazingly I first knew him was he was only 13 or so? He's 22 now.

I hope I can meet up with more old acquaintances. I am meeting up with Vernon from JV this Friday. Now that we're all working adults I feel so curious about how everyone's doing.

Leo will be flying back on Friday morning. I won't be seeing him for another God knows how long again. I bought a lot of Samyang noodles for him as a parting gift.

On the way back home, I saw this bus with ramen champion advertisement!
Hello, mid-August.

Happy to report that all is well with me. I met up with Leo on Saturday for a steak buffet but turned out that a seat had to be reserved far in advance. I screwed up this one...

However, we turned the situation around by visiting Keisuke Steak Hamburg. It was $24.50, not exactly cheap, but it was sooooo delicious. And there's a salad and egg buffet too. Really good for that price. I look forward to visiting it again.

Ramen champion opened in Clarke Quay The Central. I have never visited Clarke Quay that often until I met the Girl. Going there always reminds me of her so much.

Clarke Quay is now a great place for ramen, with santouka, marutama, keisuke lobster king, and ramen champion. I wish it was Nex instead of The Central. If it was Nex I would be eating ramen every week of my life.

Recently Amazon Prime started operations in Singapore. This was why Amazon hired so many people last year. I have been using Amazon Japan very frequently lately, but Prime is probably going to stay irrelevant to me for a while.

Here's a piece of bad news. I lost my Japanese tuitee. I saw it coming, but it still hurt. Gonna find another one, and it's not that easy.

Also, I bought my convocation photos in digital format. Unlike the past me who didn't care for photos, I decided to get these. NTU is a place full of pleasant and unpleasant memories, and I intend to reminisce about it when I am an old man.
