最近引きこもり気味ってこともあり、週末に同僚と軽くゴルフの打ちっ放しに行ってきました。見かけはいたって普通の打ちっぱ。日本とさほど変わりません。が、しかしここはミャンマー。案内してくれた係りのお姉さんが、クラブを構えた私の眼の前に座ります。そう、ボールを置いてくれるのです。マニュアル・オートゴルフレンジ・・・
さて、今日はこの曲。黙々と歌う感じがいい感じ。
この曲はBillboard誌で1984年2月に2週間、最高6位を記録しました。彼らの12th Album「Genesis」からの2ndシングル。
前シングルの「Mama」から打って変わって聴きやすいポップロックっす。シンセは陰鬱な音からもっと暖かみのある音になってます。曲最後のMikeのギターソロ部分も音にカドが無くで丸い音色が好きでした
。当時聴いた時は彼らがプログレバンドなんて思いもよらんかったすねぇ。
特にPVでのPhilのハンチング帽＋コートのホームレス姿が印象的

This song got 2 weeks No.6 on Billboard Magazine in February of 1984. Their 12th album “Genesis” included this song. It was 2nd single followed by “Mama”.
This song was Pop Rock and easier to listen than previous single “Mama”. Synthesizer sound made me feel warmth. Mike’s guitar solo had roundish sound. No sharp, no solid. I love his guitar sound. In this video, I remembered Phil with a flat cap and coat well.
Warmth tone sounds, try this song.
