JII 2010 Conference
Intercultural Learning for a Global World:
From the Classroom to the Boardroom

Location: Shirayuri College, Tokyo (Keio line – Sengawa station)
We invite you to present at JII’s upcoming conference to be held on October 17th. We will focus on the educational and training challenges of developing internationalism and intercultural effectiveness. Our goal is to bring together a wide range of internationalists, educators, trainers and intercultural communication specialists. We encourage a wide range of presentations - both theory and practice – and an inclusive atmosphere. Presentations will be for a total of 40 minutes.
We encourage presentations on subjects that include:
- issues in globalization and internationalism
- culture in language education
- intercultural training in business
- teaching intercultural communication
- differences in styles of doing business
- cultural issues in teaching and classroom management
- study-abroad
- area studies
- world Englishes
