It’s the Summer solstice.today.
It was a hot day.
夏至 暑かったですね こうして、また一つ歳を重ねてゆくのです。

１７日の昼食会には Hoshun も初参加。
ほとんどEnglishのみで進行しましたが、
例外が一つ。
『Fukuko が ＫＨにさしあげるお中元の集金を
している』 という話を、
これは特別なことだから日本語でと理由づけて、Kayoko が日本語で Hoshun に伝えたことです。
どんな些細なことであっても、とにかく全部
Englishで何とか話してみる 気持ちが
欠けてしまうと、破綻が生じます。

Kayoko は いつものクセで, 言葉に詰まって、
半面教師 という日本語を使ってしまった。
KHは,それはナニかと訊ねた。
とりあえず、単語を並べて opposite side teacher といったら、
わかった という反応だった。

などと説明するのがいいらしい。

are in the same buiding (room) , they eat foods together and also play together.
Infants play together with the elderly person, and they eat foods together. The number of such facilities has increased.
Kuni think that is a good symptom, heart-warming scene.
