One day, as soon as I arrived at my usual barber shop, the shopkeeper told me that two female barbers had left his shop suddenly.

He said to me, “I don't know what happened to them. Since it was too much sudden, I did not ask them even the reason to resign.”

I still think they are both nice women.
Therefore, I was discouraged at the news.

I do miss them.

I pray that the happiness may come to both of them.

In addition, the shopkeeper said, “an applicant is going to come to be interviewed for job tomorrow.”

How was the result?

I will go there again by the end of next month.

Although I had hardly used any aftershave lotions until the day, I bought these ones used in the shop.

I played the drums after a long time.

Luckily for me, a guitarist who is my musical friend asked me to play the drums in his band about a month ago.

Though I hesitated about what to do for a while, I finally undertook it.
When I begin something new, I often waver.

Right after that, I learned that another guitarist who had played music with me till then was going to be transferred from Niigata to Tokyo for the reasons of his work and get married.

This Sunday, the members of our brand-new band gathered in a rehearsal studio to play blues.

For me, this was a studio-work after an interval of about four months.

In the beginning of the rehearsal, I felt my drumsticks to be out of control.
However, I got used to playing gradually.

I think this group will be pleasant, too!

This was the first podium finish in his Formula 1 career.

I was impressed by the second half of his third stint.

A man forty-three years of age came to the decision to retire as a Formula 1 driver after this season.

I cannot help but say that I　had taken a passive attitude toward my own life in my school days.

“Can I ... , with such a passive attitude ... , become a member of society?”

Such a question to myself had appeared in my head when I was in the second half of the fourth year of university.

In spite of having received notice of an informal decision of employment from a certain company, I was far from the situation of having a hope to the future.

Although I had had such experience, I realized that I would taste not only “the bitters” but also “the sweets” of life if I am alive somehow.

My view of life may seem to be irresponsible, however, there will be something good if you are alive.

A university is not a place to learn from someone how to do something but a place to “study or research” your special subject.

A person who was in charge of the entrance examination of a certain university said like that on TV.

Although I think that the most part of what he said is right, how is it actually among university students now?

In the case of me, when I was a university student, although there were some difficult things, I was interested in learning from lecturers or professors, and enjoyed it.

But, when I was in the latter half of the fourth year of university, I lost my energy to “study or research” my own assignment.

What had happened to me?

I will write about it later.
