I sometimes consider what the responsibility which a tutor has toward each pupil is.
If I speak of an extreme, it may only be the existence of the tutor beside each pupil.
And I think I will be able to do my best at my post from now on, too.

I got through Niigata Minato Tunnel under the Shinano River, and crossed Taihei Bridge over the Agano River one fine afternoon.
The sunlight was pouring in like midsummer.
I had a burning sensation on my right leg for a split second.
I met a magnificent pair of stone guardian lion-dogs in the silent precinct of a Shinto shrine.
This year I have turned off into several different lanes by bicycle.
This silent hill is the place that I found in such my free time.
There is usually a woman who works in this beautiful field on weekdays.
Last month I went to a festival, “Yagawa Toro Nagashi” in Iwamuro.
“Toro Nagashi” is a ceremony in which paper lanterns are floated down a river.
“Yagawa” is a river going through Yahiko, Iwamuro and Maki areas of Niigata.
Although it was raining off and on through the night, there were a lot of sightseers.
Many dim lights were slipping on the surface of the river, being loaded people's wishes.
According to my acquaintance, these paper lanterns were made by local junior high school students.
This was my first time seeing a “Toro Nagashi,” and I was really moved by the sight.
The big bowl of rice topped with tempura which I had at “Iwamuro-ya” last Friday was very delicious.
“Iwamuro-ya”
This was my first time this season visiting Iwamuro by bicycle.
And last Sunday, I stood on the hill overlooking my alma mater.
Not until I was thirty-eight did I find this fine view.
And I went to the left bank of the Shinano River because the good weather kept up contrary to the weather forecast.

Recently I read a book, “Shosetsu-no-shuhen (the periphery of my novels)” by Shuhei Fujisawa.

I bought the book at the shop in the hospital three weeks ago.
Though I don't know much about either literature or history, the book is interesting enough to me.
