On December 25th, one of the big events for Hong Kong was Christmas day! In Hong Kong had been colonized by the British before, the whole city is wrapped in Christmas mood. That’s not only in every shopping mall and in the park, but also on the wall of a lot of skyscrapers and on the road, the scene was so amazing for me.
12月25日、香港にとってビッグイベントの一つであるクリスマスでした。以前イギリスに支配されていた香港では、街全体がクリスマスムードに包まれます。それはショッピングモールや公園内だけでなく、多くの高層ビルの壁面や道もそうであり、その光景には圧巻されます。
And so many people including Chinese who comes to enjoy the Christmas illumination and Christmas Sale gather in downtown area. And many of European live in Hong Kong takes a long time vacation for going back to their hometown. It’s also common for Hong Kong people to spend on Christmas Eve with their family. I feel the habit spending with family is so nice.
I spent on wonderful time in the party hosted by William-san, the president of SMC.
そしてクリスマスイルミネーションやクリスマス特売セールの為にやってきた中国人を含めた多くの人々が繁華街に集まります。また香港に住んでいる西洋人の多くは母国へ戻るために長期クリスマス休暇を取ります。そして香港の人々にとってもクリスマスイブは家族で過ごすのが当たり前です。この家族と共に過ごす習慣はとても素敵ですね。私はというと、SMCのウィリアム社長が主催してくださったクリスマスパーティに参加させて頂き、楽しい時間を過ごしました。
Finally, it occurs the interesting phenomenon just like Hong Kong not to put away the thing in relation to Christmas until Happy New Year, so the Christmas in Hong Kong hasn’t finished yet. If you want to enjoy Christmas again, please come here as soon as possible!
最後に、香港では年が明けるまでクリスマス関連のものは撤去されないという何とも香港らしい滑稽なことが起こっており、まだ香港のクリスマスは終わっていません。
