As I look, I'm an ordinary Japanese woman living in Japan. Although I work as a journalist, my profession owes much to my English skill. This very morning, I have just decided to write my Ameba Blog in English because I am so depressed for the first time in years-----Yesterday, I encountered a strange English expression I had never seen in my half a century-long effort.....orz
Well, I guess life goes on.
For non-native speakers, learning English is an endless endeavor. How long and how hard you study, the goal never comes.....Yes, I think I'm pretty comfortable with writing in English and am writing quite fast, as fast as my Japanese most of the time. But only because I wasn't born a native, speaking/writing English is never natural. Sigh.
I am turning 60 next year and I am craving for "dedication", I mean, I want to contribute more for those who love Japanese-English, English-Japanese communication.
If there are non-native people learning Japanese, I'd appreciate your efforts and hope that you keep on learning however tough it is. And if your Japanese teacher(s) cannot answer your difficult questions in English, I would be delighted to answer them online.
