Kugayama Firefly Festival 2026
June 6-7, 2026 2:00pm – 9:00pm

This is a chance to see fireflies in an unlikely urban setting: in the “wilds” of Kugayama in Suginami Ward. While there won’t be clouds of glowing bugs, you will be able to spot a few. If you’ve given up, there are also plenty of firefly-themed events happening around the neighborhood.
