今日はセミナーでお話ししました〜。

How’s it going?
Lab-master’s speaking.

Today, I had a seminar, talking on the role of community in the local society.

I put the focus on my Tokiwalab as a key actor for revitalization of the local society.

I think there are at least two types of community in our society, “to be” and “to do”( this classification is taken from the idea by prof. Masao Maruyama)

The former is defined as the community where members are tied by the deep relationships and want to be a stable one. This community plan to do the same thing tomorrow as today’s.

The latter is the community which has “the strength of weak ties” emphasized by Mark Granovetter.
In this community, the members have always possibilities to do something new. This type of community is unstable but is of looking at tomorrow as is the different day from today.

In my opinion. we need the community of “to do” for the positive view to the future of our society.
And I’m going on to make Tokiwalab be the one.

Pls support us!

Okay, see ya!!
