仕立てに出していた商品ができたと聞いて、2km離れた町へ引き取りにお店に行ってみたものの、担当者がいないとのことで受け取れず。これくらいのことではへこたれなくなってきました。
10th Mar (251 days) break an appointment
I went to shop to take a small item that I ordered. The shop is in a town where it takes 2 km from my place. But I wasn’t given because there is no tailor who made it. I wasn’t be dejected by something like this.
252日目、福祉用具
外来患者さん8人対応。移乗介助レベルの重度の片麻痺の女性はシャワーキャリーを使って排泄しているとのこと。意外と日本でも使われている福祉用具を手に入れていることに驚かされます。
11th Mar (252 days) welfare products
I did treatment 8 outpatients. A woman has severe hemiplegia and needs support to transfer to the bed, excrete with shower-chair. I was surprised that they have got some welfare products that are used in Japan.
253日目、ミーティングに向けて
ここ3ヶ月、理学療法部門と義肢装具部門の合同評価ミーティングが立ち消えになっていました。義足の調整がなかなか行われず、患者さんからのクレーム頻発でした。日時場所を書いたポスターを作りました。この仕事は本来現地スタッフがやるべきかと。
12th Mar (253 days) for meeting
These 3 months, consult moment that physical therapy department and technicians department combine to assessment for amputees came to nothing. Many complaints from patients have come because it took long time to adjustments of artificial leg. Then, I made a poster that let them know where and when. I think this notification should be done by a local staff.
254日目、プールエクササイズ
今日のプールエクササイズの対象は、右手足が麻痺して、痙性が強く、歩行が不自由な13才の男の子。陸上では左手足を使って、がむしゃらに歩いていました。水を怖がるかと思ったら、自ら潜ったり、水に浮いたり、意外に動けていて驚かされました。
13th Mar (254 days) pool exercise
Today’s patient of exercise in a pool is 13-years-old boy who has hemiplegia, severe spasticity and difficulty for walking. He foolhardily walked with right limbs. I guessed he feared water, but, he took it upon himself to dive, float and move well.
255日目、ミーティング復活
理学療法スタッフ＆技術者との合同評価ミーティングが3ヶ月ぶりに再開。高さチェックや記録係の仕事をふられ学生のような扱いにやや不満を感じるものの、とりあえず患者さんが被る不利益解消に貢献できたのは嬉しいことです。
14th Mar (255 days) revival of a meeting
Consult moment that physical therapy department and technicians department combine to assessment for amputees revived since 3 months ago. I was dissatisfied because I was given some works to check the height and make a record about meeting as a student. But it was a pleasure to contribute patients’ stress relief.
