キリストの受難記念日には。。。
a day of unprecedented
前例がなく
and unimaginable
想像もできぬ程
cruelty
残酷で、
suffering
苦しみの多い、
hatred
憎しみの多い、
injustice
不公平で、
darkness
暗黒で、
tears
涙と、
pain
痛みがあふれる、そして、
evil
邪悪で
sadness
悲しく
and finally...
そして
death.
死がある日でした。
"It is finished." Jesus said as he died.
『完了した。』とイエス様が言われて、息を引き取られました。
WHAT is finished??
何が完了したのでしょうか？？
The mission Jesus came to accomplish.
『救いの業は完了した。』ヨハネ１９：３０
He was born to die...
イエス様は私たちの代わりに死ぬために生まれたのです。
for our redemption.
私たちの『つみ』から救う為に。。。
SUNDAY IS EASTER ! （４月17日）
The mood changes...because, thankfully, this story does not end with death.
ムードがすっかり変わりますね！とても感謝なことですが、イースターの話はイエス様の死で終わりではありません。
Let's read about what happened on Easter morning from the New Testament book of Mark 16:1-6.
イースターの朝の話は新約聖書のマルコ１６；１－６に書かれています。読んでみましょう。
"When the Sabbath was over, Mary Magdalene, Mary the mother of James, and Salone bought spices so they could embalm Jesus' body. Very early on Sunday morning, just after sunrise, they were on their way to the tomb...
and they asked each other, 'Who will roll the stone away from the entrance of the tomb for us?'
But when they looked up, they saw that the stone, which was very large, had been rolled away. As they entered the tomb, they saw a young man dressed in a white robe sitting on the right side, and they were alarmed.
'Don't be afraid,' he said. 'You are looking for Jesus the Nazarene, the One they nailed on the cross.
He has risen!!
He is not here!!
See the place where they laid him.
It's EMPTY!!"
『さて、安息日が終わったので、マグダラのマリヤとヤコブの母マリヤとサロメとは、イエスの遺体に塗るために香料を買い求めた。そして、週の初めの日、つまり日曜日の早朝、日の出るころ墓に着いた。
「だれかが、墓の入り口にある石をころがしてくれないでしょうかね」と話し合っていた。
ところが、目をあげて見ると、大きな石なのに、もうだれかがその石をころがしてあった。それで、墓の中に入ると、真っ白な長い服を着いた青年が石側に座っているのが見え、非常に驚いた。青年は言った。
「驚くことはありません。あなたがたが、十字架に付けられたナザレのイエス様を探しているのを、私は知っている。
しかし、あの方は復活されました！！
もうここにはおられません！！
来て、御体を置かれた場所をご覧なさい！！』
This is an AMAZING miracle that could happen ONLY by God's power! I know it may seem unbelievable. And understandably so! But the resurrection is a very important part of the Easter story, so let's continue.
この驚くような出来事は神様の力によって、起こった奇跡です。「ありえない！！」と思う人も沢山居る事でしょう。そういうふうに思ってもおかしくありませんが、イエス様の復活はイースターの話の最も大切な部分なので、もう少し考えてみましょう。
What does the resurrection of Jesus mean for us?
イエス様の復活は私たちにとってはどんな意味を持っているのでしょうか？
Let's look to God's Word for the answer.
その答えは神様の御言葉にあります。
In the New Testament book of Romans, Paul writes:
"He (Jesus) was delivered over to death for our sins....
and was raised to life for our *justification. (*explanation below)
Therefore, since we have been *justified through faith,
we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ..."
Romans 4:25-5:1
主イエスは私たちが犯した罪のために死なれ、私たちが罪から救い出されるために、復活されたのである。そういうわけで、私たちは信じて救われたので、その結果、私たちの主イエス・キリストによって、神との間に平和が与えられた。ローマ教会へのパウロの手紙４：２５、５：１
*Justification means "just as if I had never sinned." When God looks at us, He sees only good. He sees a clean heart, because Jesus cleaned it for us. And because Jesus cleaned it for us, by faith we can have peace with God.
イエスの死によって、私たちの心は清められました。イエスが死んだ事によって、神様は私たちの罪を完全に忘れてくれます。神様は私たちの清い心、又、善い所だけを見られますので、私たちは神様と和解する事が出来ます。
There's hope in the resurrection!
イエス様の復活によって
私たちは希望を得る事が出来ます！
And THAT is very good news for us all!
