November 21st②
After coming down from Tanukidani Fudo-in, I continued north along the mountainside.
Along the way, I passed several more temples and shrines.
Kyoto is truly filled with temples and shrines everywhere.
Passing Enko-in, Saien-ji, and the area around Shugakuin, I arrived at Sekizan-Zen-in —
a quiet temple with beautiful autumn colors at their peak.
There were many unusual ornaments and statues, so I ended up taking lots of photos.
Even in Kyoto, where there are always many tourists, if you look around you can still find famous temples that aren’t very crowded.
On the way back, I walked to Shugakuin Station and took a bus home.
