先日京都から帰り長旅の疲れを癒してくれたゆず湯の柚子は、妻と娘が昨年同様、銀座の老舗和菓子店萬年堂のご主人一家と千葉県大多喜町でとってきたもの
でも残念ながら今年は気温が高かったため、予想以上に早く実が落ちてしまったようで、たった一本だけまだ実をつけていたまだ若い木を見つけ、皆で柚子狩り

The yuzus in the bath the other day that made me relaxed after long trip to Kyoto were the ones my family had picked up in Otaki, Chiba with the owner of Mannendo and his family.
But what they found were the trees without fruits.
The fruits had dropped from the trees unexpectedly early this year due to the warm weather.
The only tree that still had borne fruits was the youngest tree.
After the harvest, they had lunch surrounding the hearth.
It must have been a precious moment.
Wish I could have gone there, too.
