千葉県では昨夜の記録的大雨により大きな被害が出ています
亡くなられた方々のご冥福をお祈りすると共に、被害に遭われた皆様に1日も早く日常が戻って来ますようお祈り申し上げます
房総半島の突端にいる親戚は、大きな雷鳴と時折バケツをひっくり返したような豪雨に「昨夜はまんじりともしなかった」そうです
でも一夜明けるとこんなに美しい朝焼けが見られたようです
昇る朝日にさぞやホッとしたことと思います

Chiba Prefecture has suffered severe damage from record-breaking heavy rains.
My deepest condolences go to those who lost their lives, and I sincerely hope that everyone affected will be able to return to their everyday lives as soon as possible.
A relative staying at their summer house at the very tip of the Bōsō Peninsula told me that the thunders were so loud and the rain sometimes came down as if someone were turning over a huge bucket that they “barely slept a wink last night.”
This morning, they were greeted by this beautiful sunrise.
After such a frightening night, I’m sure seeing the morning sun must have brought a great sense of relief.
