隈取用の絵の具を探して

来年の2月3月の新橋演舞場スーパー歌舞伎「ヤマトタケル」

私は「大后」と「姥神」を勤めます

その「姥神」の隈取り用の材料を探しに「彩雲堂」へ

ご主人にその用途を告げいろいろとアドバイスをいただき買ってきました

この絵の具に鬢付け油　紅　墨などを混ぜ練り上げます

さて

上手く練り上がるかな

We’ll play Super Kabuki “Yamato Takeru” at Shinbashi Enbujyo in the next February and March.

I will be playing the two roles; empress and “Unagami”.

To “Saiundo” in search for pigments for kumadori when perform the empress.

I asked the owner the reason why I was visiting his shop, and upon his advice, I bought some pigments.

With these, I mix binzuke oil, deep red pigment, and ink, and knead well.

Let’s see if I can do well.
