We had a day-off today.

Breakfast at the famous cafe “Barefoot Cafe” by the beach.

And as I was going to swim, a lifesaver was putting up a notice “Sharks sighted!”.

What?!

Sharks in Waikiki?

“Where are they? I mean are they still here?” said my wife.

“Yeah, it’s right there where surfers are.”

This conversation completely blew our minds, and we decided to go for a drive instead.

Had excellent sandwiches at a cafe by the canal and went shopping at COSTCO.

The way how the store is made and merchandise they sell are almost the same as the ones in Tokyo, except one; a storage depot for firearms.

This made me realize I’m in the United States of America!

After a while, I just couldn’t stand not going to the beach, and swam in the ocean sharks might be swimming, too.

It was relaxing but before the sharks find me and have me as their dinner, I stopped swimming.

And the Takinoya boys are invited to pumpkin carving for the Halloween.

Curious to know what kind of jack-o-lantern they made.

Probably after the pumpkin carving, they must be playing domino games again tonight.
