子どものころは、この水羊羹をスルッと飲むように食べたあと、割り箸の先端にきつくガーゼを巻いて青竹に挿し込み、水鉄炮を作ったものです

Received “Kanrodake”, my favorite summer sweets.
It brings back my memories of my childhood, making a water gun with the bamboo. Here’s how to make it.
1) Put a hole on nose, and enjoy their excellent sweet jellied bean paste. This is the most important!
2) Wrap a gauze tight around the top of a chopstick.
3) Fill the bamboo with water and push the chopstick forcefully. Here you go!
This is one of my happy summer memories in Kyoto.
