1964年に、父がハワイ公演🌈🌴に参加した時のもの
帰国した父は、素晴らしいところだから家族みんなで行きたいねと話していたものです
お土産に買って来たキャンディレイとフラダンスの人形、ムームー、アロハなどを見ながら、まだ見ぬ南の島に思いを馳せたものです
それから60年近く、そのハワイ🌈🌴で僕が歌舞伎を教えることになるとはなんだかご縁を感じます

As I was looking for something in the storage, I found the programs and photos of Hawaii production my father appeared in in 1964.
He would say it was such a beautiful place that he would like to take us there.
I remember dreaming of the islands I had never known in the South Pacific, looking at the candy leis, a doll dancing hula, mumus and aloha he brought home as souvenirs.
I had never imagined I would get to teach Kabuki in Hawaii almost 60 years from then.
This must be fate.
