紅ほっぺ飴🍓、マスクメロン飴🍈にプロポリス飴🐝
飴と言えば、役者は、舞台に出る前にのど飴舐める人が多いです
昔の役者は「仁丹」、「龍角散」「ヴィックス」
最近では「龍角散のど飴」
マスクメロン🍈味、気になるなぁ
そう言えば先日ハワイ大学での授業で喉を使うため、スーパーマーケットで飴🍬を探したら全然売ってない😱

Speaking of candies, many Kabuki actors have throat lozenges before appearing on stage.
Back in old days, they had “Jintan” (a kind of refreshing candies), Ryukakusan (traditional herbal medication for throat), and “Vicks”.
Recently, most of us have “Ryukakusan Nodo Ame” (throat lozenges).
I know it’s not particularly good for throat but the melon candy captures my heart.
It was quite surprising to find out they don’t sell hard candies in supermarkets in Hawaii. (at least those stores I went)
Because teaching Kabuki classes at University of Hawaii in last March, it required tremendous power and could hurt my throat, I tried to get candies at several supermarkets.
Then I ended up finding not a single hard candies sold at any of the supermarkets I visited.
All I could find was gummy.
I wonder if they’re not popular anymore in US…
