お陰様で昨日無事帰国しました🛬
日本はちょうどマスク着用😷が、個人の判断に任されるようになった日でもありました
でもまだまだ多くの人がマスク着用していますよね
今回ハワイで驚いたのはまるで、コロナなんてなかったかのような開放的な雰囲気
その中でマスクをしているのは、ほとんどが日本人
お店の入り口でも手指消毒をしている人を見かけたのは、唯一一人だけ
ただ大学だけは、「皆で協力してコロナに勝とう」という垂れ幕や、消毒の設備がしっかりと整っていました
マスクをしている学生はやはり少なめでしたが、演劇舞踊科の僕が担当した授業では、声を出す授業でもありジュリーが学生にマスク着用を義務化していました
東京はこれからどのような道を歩んでいくのか、私たちそれぞれに任されているのですね

Came back home safe and sound last night.
It was the day wearing a face mask has become basically based on individual judgement in Japan.
But most of the people are still wearing masks so far.
What we have surprised most in Hawaii was the open and unconstrained attitude as if the pandemic caused by COVID-19 had never happened.
People hardly wear masks there, except Japanese.
And believe it or not, I have seen only one guy sanitizing hands to enter a shop.
However, University of Hawaii was different.
The banner saying “We can beat COVID-19 together” and hand sanitizing facilities remind us the pandemic had happened in the island.
Few students were wearing masks but Julie asked the students to wear them because they have to vocalize lines in the class I taught.
Now that the government has left it to our individual judges, it all depends on us how we coexist with the virus in Japan.
