佐渡ケ嶽親方よりお餅を頂戴しました
コロナ禍にあって恒例の年末の部屋でのお餅つき
はありませんが、こうしてのし餅、餅米で握った大きな大きな塩むすび
、あんこを送ってくださいます
お相撲さんがついた「縁起餅」ありがたく頂戴します
のし餅はもちろんのこと大きな塩むすび、美味しいんです
炊き立ての甘い香りのする餅米で握り、ちょっと塩っ辛いくらいの粗塩が効いた塩むすびは絶品✨なんです
お腹いっぱいになりますが、塩だけで十分美味しい
今日は「大掃除に、お稽古に精を出すからこのくらいいいや⁉︎」と自分に言い訳をして食べちゃう
年末年始ぐらい
…まぁいいか

Received a box packed with mochi from the stable master of Sadogatake Stable.
Though the year-end mochi pounding event has been cancelled due to the pandemic, they send us mochi for these two years.
Thank you sooo much for the lucky mochi the sumo wrestlers of the stable pounded.
I truly appreciate it, oyakata!
Not to say the mochi itself, I love awesome salt flavored rice balls made with sticky rice.
At one bite, sweet smell of the rice get up to your nose and you’ll be in seventh Heaven.
You will no longer care you’re on diet.
Nothing can stop you from eating the bit salty sticky rice balls.
What makes their mochi more awesome is probably the affection of hardworking wrestlers preparing and pounding sticky rice for us.
