また勝浦の地域振興にも大変熱心に携わっている素敵な人
日曜日にはビーチクリーニング🏖を行ったり、地元のほとんどの飲食店のメニューを無料で英語に翻訳し😮、インバウンドに備えたりと地に足がついた活動をしています
まだ陽が昇りきらないうちから始まる彼の活動を見ていると一日24時間で足りるのかなぁと思うほど
でも彼の素晴らしいところは全てを楽しみながらやっているところです
「僕が目指しているのはお金儲けじゃなくて、みんなに笑顔😁😄😊になってもらうことなんだ」
そんな彼に話があると言われて昨日行ってみると、新たな夢を語ってくれました
私たち日本人が持ち得ないインバウンド目線で勝浦を見つめ行動するデイン、これからもよろしくね
来年は現在イギリス🇬🇧留学中の兄を追って、イギリス🇬🇧留学を控える次男のラルフ君✨と
前向きなデインとの話につい時間を忘れて話し込み、帰り道気づいたら夕暮れ

A surf photographer Dane Gillett, originally from England owns a beautiful oceanfront guest house in Hebara, Katsuura.
But he never satisfies what he owns, and he engages himself in dozens of local developments, such as beach cleaning on Sundays, volunteering translations of local restaurants’ menus into English for inbounds…and he doesn’t forget to enjoy himself surfing, wing surfing, fishing etc. as well.
It’s incredible what he does all in 24 hours.
But what is most important is that he enjoys doing all these activities.
“What I’m aiming for is to see smile on people’s face, to make them happy.”
He explained about his new dream with his eyes shining when we visited him yesterday.
He works for the community and Katsuura by looking at the region from inbounds’ perspective that we Japanese don’t have.
I am grateful for your hard works and hope your dream will come out to be successful, Dane!
