この日、有明アリーナには「TOKYO2020」の原点「復興五輪」を大会後も語り継ぐための象徴となるよう
岩手県 アカマツ
宮城県 ケヤキ
福島県 ケヤキ
熊本県 クスノキ
が植樹されました
そしてオリンピック、パラリンピックが終わった今も有明アリーナには一般に立ち入ることが許されていないためか、植樹された木々は手入れもされずひっそりと雑草に埋もれています
大会の原点であり語り継ぐ象徴の植樹

Remember about my article about the tree-planting ceremony at the Ariake Arena held on June 6th this year?
They planted Japanese red pine from Iwate prefecture, zelkova from Miyagi and Fukushima, and camphor tree from Kumamoto as symbols of Recovery Olympics from the earthquakes.
Unobserved, the trees are left untended and overgrown with weeds.
Hope they won’t die because they’re the symbols of the “recovery” and the origin of TOKYO 2020.
