我が家の１日はNHKの連続テレビ小説「おちょやん」から始まります
大正から昭和にかけての大阪道頓堀を舞台にしたドラマです
ご覧になっていらっしゃる方はご存知かと思いますが、「岡安」「福富」という芝居茶屋が出てきますが、時代の波に飲み込まれ、うどん屋へと変わっていきます
このモデルとなっているのが道頓堀で今も繁盛しているうどん店「道頓堀 今井」の前身だそうです
芝居茶屋とは芝居の切符の手配、仕出しなど観劇するお客様の世話をするお店のことで、かつては各劇場の周りにありました
うちも道頓堀にかつてあった「三亀」さんというお茶屋さんとお付き合いがありましたが、もう時代が変わり観劇スタイルも変わってきたため残念ながら廃業してしまいました
さて「道頓堀 今井」ですが、ここは僕も松竹座に出演している際にはよく伺うお店でおいしいうどんがいただけます
道頓堀の喧騒が嘘のように風情ある店構えの今井
のれんを潜ると、清潔でほっとするような空間にお出汁の芳しい香りが漂ってきます
「観劇用弁当」も扱っていて、芝居茶屋の名残りを感じ往時を偲ぶことができます
そして忘れてはならないのがわらび餅
熱いうどんを啜ったのち、食べる今井のわらび餅は絶品です

Our morning starts from the TV drama “Ochoyan”.
It’s the drama of a comedienne in Taisho to Showa and set in Dotonbori, Osaka.
Viewers of the drama may know that “shibai jyaya” that arranges tickets and lunch box for theater-goers, called “Okaysu” and “Fukutomi” changed their business to udonshop “Okafuku” in the chaotic time after the World War II.
We used to have business with Sankame, one of the shibaijyaya in Dotonbori but they have closed its business as well because of the drastic change of the life-styles of theater-goers.
The udon shop “Okafuku” in the drama is modeled after a very famous udon shop “Imai” in Dotonbori.
It’s a simple but elegant shop in the middle of hustle and bustle of Dotonbori but once you enter the shop, you’ll be mesmerized with the beautiful aroma of dashi in a cozy atmosphere.
Gorgeous lunch boxes for theater-goers makes me remind of the days they were doing business as shibai jyaya.
Besides countless numbers of their menus, what you can’t forget is warabi mochi.
Their incredibly gummy warabi mochi is perfect for dessert after slurping udon.
