あの当時はまだほぼ未知のウィルス🦠だったため受け入れ先として手を挙げるには、大変な勇気が必要だったと思います
一方、大変な思いで帰国した
方々は一刻も早く我が家でホッとしたかった
ことと思います
その方々の滞在にあたっては当初風評被害を恐れて、反対の声もあったと聞きますが、ホテル三日月🏨と鴨川の亀田メディカルセンター🏥がタッグを組んだ🤝ことで、地元の方々の理解を得られたようです
ホテル三日月🏨と亀田メディカルセンター🏥の熱意に絆された地元の方々は、客室下の浜辺🏖で少しでも旅の疲れを癒やしてもらうため太鼓の演奏🥁や、バンブートーチでのライトアップ
などを行い、二週間後、帰路につく帰国者の方々のバス🚌を「お疲れ様でした」「また来てくださいね」と温かい拍手👏で送り出したとか👋
熱意が人を動かす素敵な逸話ですね

Received a wonderful news from the president Odaka of the Kamogawa Hotel Mikazuki.
They’ve been commended by Chiba Prefecture today for accepting the returnees from Wuhan for two weeks last year.
It must have taken a tremendous courage to raise their hands under such a situation; not knowing what the virus was.
While the accepting side and host communities were pretty anxious, the returnees, on the other hand, must have been exhausted from evacuation from Wuhan.
Upon their staying at the hotel, local communities were rather opposed to it.
But as the hotel and the Kameda Medical Center in Kamogawa teamed up to make the things go smoothly, the local people gradually started to become cooperative.
Moved by the enthusiasm of the Hotel Mikazuki and the Kameda Medical Center, the local communities showed drumming performance on the beach right below the hotel rooms where the returnees were and lighted up the beach with bamboo torch to welcome them.
On the day of the returnees leaving, the locals gathered in front of the hotel and gave a big hand to see them off.
A beautiful story of enthusiasm moving people’s heart.
