大晦日🌃皆さんどのようにお過ごしになりましたか

僕が子どもの頃はレコード大賞📀からの紅白歌合戦🎤、そして除夜の鐘を聴きながら「行く年来る年」というのが多くの日本人の大晦日の過ごし方だったのではないでしょうか

でも今ではたくさんの選択肢がありますね

我が家は「This is 嵐 LIVE」

家族で何を観ようかと相談した結果、国民的アイドルとして長年に亘り日本を元気づけてくれた嵐の最後を見届けようと言うことになりました

5人で心を合わせて活動して来た集大成の素晴らしいステージでした

ただ唯一、本当に悲しく思ったのは無観客だったこと

ファンの人たちと共に歩んできた5人が、誰もいない観客席を前に全力で歌い踊り、最後の瞬間、ステージ上方へ手を振って消えて行ったこと👋

僕も昨年の3月無観客の舞台「オグリ」🌹を経験しました

あの心の底から込み上げてくる虚しさは忘れられません

グループ「嵐」としてステージに立つのはあれが活動休止前最後だったことを思うと、どれほど寂しく虚しかったことか

でも僕たちは観客として充分楽しませていただきました

長い間ご苦労様でした👏

これからの人生に幸あれ🥂

How did you spend New Year’s Eve?

When I was a kid, it was a kind of national custom to watch “The Japan Record Award”, “Kohaku Utagassen”, then “Yukutoshi Kurutoshi”.

But now, we have lots of selections to watch.

We had decided to watch “This is Arashi Live”.

We wanted to see the last moment before taking a hiatus of nationally famous idol group Arashi who had encouraged Japan for 21 years.

It was an excellent performance of five members as one.

The only thing I really feel sorry for them was that they had to perform without a single audience, due to the COVID-19.

After the performance at their last moment before hiatus, the five going up the stairs in front of the stage and disappeared, hugging each other and waving their hands.

I have also experienced a stage without audience in the last March and I will never forget the emptiness coming from the bottom of my heart.

That’s why I can easily imagine their sense of futility and sadness for making it their last performance as a group “Arashi” before hiatus.

But we audiences enjoyed the show very much.

Thanks a million for encouraging us for such a long time and I wish you the very best for the rest of your careers.
