After 5 months blank, Kabukiza will be opening it’s curtain tomorrow.
It’s a great pity that more than 20 people involving a theater have infected COVID-19 in Tokyo.
What makes me sorry very much is that this news worries people about the opening of Kabukiza.
But please watch this video and see how much details Shochiku has planned and made up the strict guidelines for the production.
And this will never be broken or treated as redundant rules on the spur of the moment by the involving people.
By following the guidelines, I’m sure we can make that fantastic Kabuki theater again together with actors, staff, and audiences in near future.
All the actors and staff involving myself who’s not appearing the production are fighting against the virus not to be infected and ruin the show.
I sincerely hope it will be a great reopening of Kabuki and can continue it until the final curtain comes down on the last day of the production.
