このTシャツを作ったときには、これ程長い間歌舞伎が公演されない時期が来るとは思っていませんでしたが、今まさにこの通りの心境です
歴史を遡ると戦争により歌舞伎がない期間がありましたが、どこかで何かしら上演されていたようで本当に市中から歌舞伎の舞台が消えたのはごくわずかな期間だったよう
しかし今回のこのコロナによるブランクはそれよりすでに長いと、何かに書いてありました
文字通り一日も早く歌舞伎の舞台が開きますように🙏🕊
ところでこのTシャツ、数年前に販売したのですが、好評で完売してしまいました
袖にMONNOSUKE と書いてあります
ご希望が多ければまた作りますね

It says “NO KABUKI NO LIFE” on the T-shirt I’m wearing.
When we made the shirts, I had never realized the meaning but now I know what it means well enough...
As we trace back the history, there were certain period that Kabuki production was not presented.
But according to what I read, it was much shorter than the current situation in which not a single production has been presented.
I can’t help longing for Kabuki to be performed without any “hesitation”.
By the way, we sold the T-shirts sometime ago but they’re all sold out.
Has “Monnosuke” logo on a sleeve.
If there are many who want one, I may make and sell them.
