マスク、消毒剤不足に続き、今度は突然のトイレットペーパーやティッシュペーパーの買い占め騒ぎ
先程ハワイ州立大学の演劇舞踊学科の教授と「ハワイ州立大学歌舞伎プロジェクト」について打ち合わせをしていたら、ハワイでもトイレットペーパーやミネラルウォーターの買い占めが今日から起きているそう
でもこれは少なくとも日本では「トイレットペーパーが中国で作られているから、そのうち流通しなくなるのでは」と言う大きな勘違いから起きた騒動
COVID-19は様々なところに影響を及ぼしていきますが、冷静に判断して行動しなくちゃね

It’s disappointing that graduation ceremony of the university my daughter goes are to be cancelled.
I was looking forward to seeing her in “hakama”.
Besides face masks, hand sanitizers are flying off the shelves, toilet papers and tissues are also vanishing from shops and stores today.
As I was talking to Dr.Iezzi of UHM faculty of Dept. of Theater and Dance about the University of Hawaii Kabuki Project, she mentioned toilet papers and mineral waters have flown off the shelves in a day.
All of these are due to a false rumor that factories producing such items in China are going to halt because of the virus.
The situation calls for our cool judgment.
