Took Michelle to “Chinese Lantern Festival” in Asakusa, with Takisho kun.

The dimness of the evening made Asakusa beautiful in a different way than usual.

Michelle was excited to see the dolls of “Shiranami
Gonin Otoko” that she had learnt in the Summer Workshop in the University of Hawaii, on the rooftops of the shops around the Sensoji Temple.

Finding the Benten Kozo, she rushed to the shop and said, “This is me!”.

The red temple was stunningly gorgeous with a whole bunch of orange Chinese Lanterns and their green leaves under the lights of filament lamps.

Five of us drew fortune slips and Michelle, my wife and myself got “very good luck”.

“Good luck” to my daughter and Takisho kun.

Isn’t it great?

Delighted for the lucky revelation, we left Asakusa.
