駄菓子屋さん

昨日 神楽坂で見かけた駄菓子   コーナー

思い出すなぁ〜 

大きなプラスティックの瓶に手を突っ込んで 一杯入った  毒々しいほど赤い「すもも」 を取り出して甘酸っぱい実をしゃぶる 

種だけになる頃にはすっかり指先  と舌が食紅で真っ赤   になっちゃってさ

握りしめたお小遣い  を数えながらいかに多くのお気に入りを買おうかと一生懸命足し算「 + 」したり、引き算「－」したり 

駄菓子屋さん  て子ども  の成長に大切だったんだなぁ

A Japanese cheap sweets shop

It reminds me of my childhood.

Thrusting my hand into a big bottle filled with red plums.

My fingertips and tongue got heavy red after finished chewing it up and leaving only a pit.

Counting the pocket money in my hand, I tried to buy my favorites as much as possible.

I happened to exercise addition and subtraction without knowing.

Japanese sweets shops are necessary for children’s growth, you know.
