To those who have lost your beloved ones or forced to have difficult lives due to the earthquake yesterday

I’d like to express my deepest sympathies.

I was appearing at the Minamiza, Kyoto when 3.11 Earthquake hit Eastern Japan.

The condominium we were living at that time swayed severely and my family had to “evacuate” to Kyoto after the earthquake.

And we were quite surprised to realize that the people of Kyoto were incredibly kind to us.

We will never forget it.

Unfortunately, aftershocks may continue for a while.

You may think realities are way too far.

My heart hurts as I think of you.

But please don’t forget my thoughts are with you.

I sincerely wish you can get back to your normal daily life and your smile come back again, soon.

Remember?

Through every dark night, there’s a bright day!
