渋墨を初めて使った

I used Shibusumi for the first time
私は刀身を炙って、滲み出た油を布で拭き取った
I broiled the blade and wiped off the oil we blew off with a cloth
緑の竹からも油を抜いた
I also drained oil from green bamboo
渋墨を3回重ねて塗った
渋墨だけでは煤が手や衣服に付着する
柿渋を3回重ねて塗れば、それを防ぐことができる
比較のため、もう１本は柿渋だけ3回塗った
I coat Shibusumi three times.
Shibusumi alone will soot adhere to hands and clothes
If you apply persimmon juice three times repeatedly, you can prevent it
For comparison, another one painted persimmon tuber only three times
組み立てたら、それらしく見えてきた
Once assembled, it seemed like it
竹のお箸を使い、刀身を柄に固定する
Using bamboo chopsticks, fix the blade in the handle
菱紙みたいなものを作る
7mm間隔で罫線が引かれたノートを10mm幅に切断する
Make something like Hishigami
Cut the note with ruled lines drawn at 7 mm intervals to a width of 10 mm
糊で貼り合わせながら巻く
三角形に整形する
Winding while gluing with glue
Shape to triangle
