The Japanese version of DBS, a system that requires those who wish to work with children to prove that they have no history of sexual offenses, is being considered by the government to include all those who work in schools, daycare centers, and kindergartens. The government is expected to submit a related bill this fall that will include the establishment of the system.

Did large preparatory schools and cram schools donate large sums of money to politicians?
There was a former student who was arrested in a certain circle incident at Waseda and a former teacher who was dismissed on disciplinary grounds for indecent behavior toward junior high school students at a cram school I attended. What they have in common is that they are unusually close to their students. I asked the owner, the principal of the school, "Why do you hire people like them?" I asked the owner, the headmaster of the school, and he replied, "They need a place to work. I found out that the principal himself had been involved in a drunken fatal accident in the past and had been dismissed from his position on disciplinary grounds. I was horrified to hear that he is still actively accepting troubled ex-teachers as a way to help them.
Such unfortunate cases can be found anywhere in Japan. But even in coffee shops, they say, "What you don't see is what you make of it. People don't know the other side of the story, so they send their own daughters and sons to cram schools based on name recognition alone. I think it is dangerous, don't you?
Now that the Internet is widely available, it is better for the world and people if this kind of information is spread!
子どもと接する職場への就労希望者に、性犯罪歴がないことの証明を求める仕組み「日本版ＤＢＳ」について、政府が学校や保育所、幼稚園で働く全ての人を対象に含める方向で検討していることがわかった。政府は、今秋にも制度の創設を盛り込んだ関連法案を提出する見通し。
「今頃、遅すぎる対応」
だと思います。何もしないよりマシだけど。でも、
「なんで、塾は対象から外したのだろう？」
大規模予備校や塾から政治家に多額の献金があったのかな？
私が通っていた塾に早稲田の某サークル事件で逮捕された元学生、中学生への猥褻行為で懲戒免職になった元教員が講師がいた。 共通して言えることは生徒との距離が異様に近い。「 なぜ彼らのような人雇うのか？」とオーナーである塾長に尋ねたら「彼らには受け皿も必要」とのこと。 調べてみたら塾長自身が過去に飲酒死亡事故を起こして懲戒免職の経験あり。 そうした経験からなのか今でも受け皿として問題を抱えた元教師たちを積極的に受け入れていると聞いてゾッとした。
こういう残念なケースは日本全国どこにでもある。でも、喫茶店でも「見ぬもの清し」と言う。みんな裏側を知らないから知名度だけを頼りに自分の娘さんや息子さんを塾に通わせる。危険だと思うよね。
今はネットが普及しているから、こういう情報は拡散した方が世のため人のため！
