師 渡口政吉先生の沖縄本来の文化としての「尚禮舘空手」を約束の地「沖縄」に還す為に道場を設立し発信する活動しています。
渡口政吉先生の心技体を正伝し、晩年まで20年以上師事しました。恩師との約束を守り、尚禮舘発祥の地沖縄と宮崎で指導を続けています。渡口先生直伝の指導体系を改変する事なくそのまま伝えています。

今日は皆さんにこちらの物語をご覧いただきます。
『道を求める者へ - 人生哲学としての空手道』
夜の道場に、渡口先生の声が響き渡る。
「空手で有名になって金儲けして何になる！何が残る！？何にもならん！！！」
その言葉は、弟子たちの心に深く刻まれていった。
人生の起伏を経験してきた渡口先生。
いずれは体を捨て還る身。
名誉、地位、お金—全てはこの世に置いていくもの。先生の哲学は、空手の真髄そのものだった。
稽古後、酒を酌み交わしながら、先生は過去を語った。若かりし日の思い出、恩師である宮城長順と比嘉世幸両先生のこと、そして空手の本質について。
戦前から晩年まで、宮城長順先生から学んだ剛柔流の精神が、その言葉の端々に滲み出ていた。
渡口先生は常々言っていた。「空手道の信条を暮らしの中に生かすべし」と。
それは単なる技や型の伝授ではなく、人生哲学そのものだった。
道場の顔と私生活の顔が一致する—それが真の武道家の姿。渡口先生はその生き様で、私たちに示し続けた。
指導者としての重責を背負いながら、渡口先生は常に純粋な道を求め続けた。名声や評価に惑わされることなく、ただひたすらに。
その姿勢は、今も私の心に深く刻まれている。空手の道を歩む者として、私もまた、真摯に、そして真剣に、道を極めていきたい。
渡口先生の教えは、時を超えて、今もなお私たちの心に生き続けている。

In the quiet dojo, the voice of Master Toguchi echoed.
“What good is it to become famous in karate and make money? What remains? Nothing!”
These words deeply resonated with his disciples.
Having experienced life's ups and downs, Master Toguchi understood that fame, status, and money are all left behind in this world. His philosophy was the essence of karate itself.
After practice, over drinks, he would share stories of his youth, his mentors Chojun Miyagi and Seiko Higa, and the essence of karate. The spirit of Goju-Ryu, learned from Chojun Miyagi, permeated his words.
Master Toguchi often said, “Live by the principles of karate-do.”
This was not merely the transmission of techniques and forms but a life philosophy.
The true martial artist’s persona in the dojo and in private life should be consistent. Master Toguchi demonstrated this through his way of living.
Bearing the heavy responsibility of a teacher, Master Toguchi always sought the pure path, undistracted by fame or recognition, with unwavering dedication.
His attitude remains deeply etched in my heart. As a follower of karate, I too wish to pursue the path with sincerity and seriousness.
Master Toguchi’s teachings continue to live in our hearts, transcending time.
