先週土曜日久しぶりにハイキングに行って来ました。
滝のあるハイキングコース行こうとしたのだけど通行止めで急遽その近くで手頃なトレイルググって見つけた TheCobbEstate TrailというAltadenaにあるトレイルだったのですが なんとここ❗️後からゴーストが出るというトレイルで有名なところだったのです！👀😱
THE COBB ESTATE - Located in Altadena, California , the palatial Cobb Estate (known locally as the Haunted Forest) was built in 1918 by Charles Cobb, who lived there for several years with his wife and two sons. In the 1920’s a family dispute led Cobb to murder his wife and sons and the estate house and grounds lay empty for several years until it was purchased and torn down by the Marx Brothers in 1959, just a few years after they bought the 107-acre property.
The dilapidated entrance gates remain, looking like a horror movie trope come to life. Those who Pass through its gates at night, report witnessing following footsteps, strange lights, distant screams, and the fallout from gangland executions and Satanic/cult rituals, which continue regularly to this day.
Deep into the property is a system of caves known as the ritual tunnels, where satanic and ritualistic paraphernalia continue to be found along with animal remains and personal human items.
In the 1970s a group of nuns used the site as a spiritual retreat until one of their sisters was raped and hanged to death from a tree.
Locals refuse to enter the estate after dark for fear of paranormal and cult activity and also report pets going missing on a regular basis within the estate.
