宮城県松島町にある、田村孝行さん・弘美さんの農園「健太いのちの農園」にて開催された「秋の里山感謝祭」に参加しました。おいしい豚汁、新米のおにぎり、栗ご飯、天ぷら、漬物、サツマイモ、ウインナーなど、おいしいものがたくさん。参加者、特に子ども達が、楽しくだいこん、ジャガイモ、キーウイなどを収穫。コンサートもありました。
なんという美しく愛おしい秋の一日でしょう。
東日本大震災で、田村さんご夫妻の息子さんは犠牲になりました。この農園は“いのち”を学ぶ農園です。

Mr. and Mrs. Tamura hosted a harvest festival at their farm in the countryside in Miyagi. They served miso soup with pork and vegetables. Participants, especially children, enjoyed harvesting vegetables there. There is a music concert, too. What a beautiful and peaceful day in the fall!
Mr. and Mrs. Tamura lost their son by the Great East Japan earthquake and tunami in 2011.
熊が、東北地方の市街地で目撃されています。
実のなる木を人間が伐採し山に食べ物がないのが、原因の一つだと言われています。地球が人間だけのものでないことを考えると、どうやって野生動物と共生できるか考える必要があります。野生の草花も消滅しつつあります。
自然を守るために私たち一人ひとりに何ができるのでしょう。
Bears come into towns in my area in the northern part of Japan now. It is scary, but it is time again to think about how humans can live together with wild animals.
Who owns the earth?
Animals, birds, fish, plants, and humans can share the earth. Bears live in the wilderness which does not belong only to humans.
Bears appear in towns mainly because there is no food in the mountains. One of the reasons is because humans cut fruit trees. Much of the reason bears come into towns more than ever is human-based. We need to care about nature. All kinds of creatures in this world are so precious. Wildflowers are also disappearing. Humans abuse wild nature all over the world.
What can we do as individuals?
